Hi ya fellas I made my own soldering/hot air station based on Quicko T12 OLED controller but mostly use Quicko T12-942 MINI powered from a 24v power brick

5-6 mode 6v buck drivers are a matter of preference for high power builds as 1 mode alternatives are also available ranging from 4A to 5.5A

maybe they're not the same as yours is the "k" version and has better specs, weight 2g vs 3g and 22AWG Silicone Wire which justifies price diff
