I dont think 4.7A is really stressing diode as others have pushed to 5.5A

Hi Shmack these 4.5A 1 mode are pretty robust, have to play around,do some experimenting with 2 parallel R120 sense resistors to set at desired output I have 1 at 4.8A and 1 at 5A working just fine. can give you specific values if u want,just say as I have to take it apart to check ;) took it...

Hi Pados you should of went for 1 mode xhp70 6v driver if you wanted to avoid lower settings instead of multi mode . modes are in firmware of driver intended for flashlight mods. these cree xhp70 6v drivers have output specs that work fine with nubm44 1 mode now set at 5A nik
