low power eye safe infrared laser?

Isn't the higher frequency more dangerous? I was taught that that lower wavelength = HF = more energy. That is why we are concerned about UV radiation from the sun and x-rays are able to go through soft tissue.

low power eye safe infrared laser?

Well I don't know much about building lasers but if you can get your hands on the parts this should work: 808nm 5mW Laser Module, 12x35mm, AixiZ Edit: I did not see the other post sorry.

    The Wavelength Thread

Yeah, I can see it very well, I meant that the difference between those two seem to be the largest gap in the spectrum, maybe if there was a 420nm it would fill the gap. I kinda had fun after I was finished with it, maybe I should learn to code :p it is just time consuming.

I was browsing and got bored so I made this in notepad: ════≡────────────────────────────────────────────☀404 ......... Violet ════≡────────────────────────────────────────────☀405 ......... Violet ════≡────────────────────────────────────────────☀406.7 ....... Violet...

Lasers in the sky!?! (google earth sky).

Here are the coordinates for the large Red, Green, and Blue boxes: 12h29m14.87s 3°31'07.22" Edit: I just found this source that Supports DrSid, it seems to make a lot more sense than actual laser beams. For me this is pretty cool about meteorites, I once saw one that I thought changed color...

Lasers in the sky!?! (google earth sky).

I don't know anything about how they take these pictures but they seem stitched together from long tracks. I don't know of any aircraft that give off steady light in red, green, or blue. I did get a 15 second exposure of the night sky with a plane in it a few years ago though.

Lasers in the sky!?! (google earth sky).

Hello all! I am just getting into the hobby having never owned a more powerful laser than a cheap "<5mw" green pen, I have a rayfoss waterproof 30mw on it's way (including goggles) that I will be sure to do a review on. I am excited to be a part of this community and learn way too much about...
