    How to control bipolar stepper?

Thanks, but i don't want to shop parts, i'm trying to get a nice laser by the cheapest way.. So, the solution I posted works perfectly, but I want an opinion: I'm correct with the actual setup? I quote:

"hdd galvos" Experimentation and project in the works

Hi! Very nice your project :D I have a question... What you used for mounting the mirrors? Thanks

    How to control bipolar stepper?

But my hard drive HAS stepper motor, i'm sure.. Why? Some reasons: *Has 4 cables *I opened it and i can see that has coils of stepper motors *If i connect 2, 3 or 4 cables to 4.5VDC, it doesnt spins, just moves to another position *Connecting different cables and changing the polarity, it moves...

    How to control bipolar stepper?

No, i'm talking about the motor of the disks, not the voice coil EDIT: The motor has 4 cables, so I tried connecting one coil (two cables) to the sound and the other coil (the other 2 cables) to a 4.5DC source.. With this configuration it works so nice, better than the voice coil actuator, but...

    How to control bipolar stepper?

Hi I have two hard drives, and i noted that the motor has 4 cables, so now i know that it has a bipolar stepper motor... So, the question is.. How i can control it? :P If is too hard so make the circuit... How i can identify the part on the hard drive PCB that controls the motor? And how i can...

    Help with audio amp D:

No, no I'm using resistors for making a voltaje divisor and get ground..

    Help with audio amp D:

Edit: I was tired to try, try, try, so I got two DC sources of 9V.. I did a new circuit and connected all, but it doesn't goes good... Can you show me how to do the circuit with two sources? Of course, one source for each amp. Thanks

    Help with audio amp D:

I think I almost solved the problem, but i need something that i don't know what, see.. With this new setup; if i do a left signal, i get 100% signal on the left, but I get 5% too on the right... I think i need to filter with diodes, but I dont know By the way, I didn't used ground in the setup...

    Help with audio amp D:

Ok i solved it with capacitors.. Worked fine with only one Amp and one Hard drive, but when i connect the two (one to left, the other to right) it doens't respect if is right or left.. I mean.. If i do in the PC a left signal, both hard drives are moving! Not only the left one! And the same...

    Help with audio amp D:

I dont know why but rarely i got today too much noise D: What i need to do? Put more capacitors? Paralel or serial? :S Thanks

    Help with audio amp D:

Ok I think I know where.. How many capacity I need the capacitors? Edit: I was checking with a 47uF 16V electrolitic capacitor and the moving is so awesome at low volume in the PC! I tested it with only 1 amplificator, now i will check with two.. So, thanks for all! :D To the final i have a...

    Help with audio amp D:

I have now a 18V input source.. I connected it and comes again the problem: The moving of the arm is limited and the sound is distorted.. I was finding the problem and i found that if i touch all the extremities of the OpAmp.. The moving is better... What it means?

    Help with audio amp D:

When i was running all, i saw that the signal is too weak, but i have two supositions; 1- I need more volts at the input 2- I need to play with the resistors to make a higher gain I think the second option is cheapest than the first one.. What do you think?

I read the chapter you told me and i did this (attached). I think it works, but tell me what you think

    Help with audio amp D:

Yes but there is another problem when I use negative feedback and not ground; If i make on the PC a left signal, the voltaje goes to the two hard drives, not only to the left one =/ I need a bipolar source?

    Help with audio amp D:

I read the first chapters of the PDF and i did another circuit (attached), but I have more troubles... When I connect all to the electric source, all the 9V goes directly to the Hard Drives without any audio signal going to the amp input... I mean, 0V in the non-inverting input and 9V in the...

    Help with audio amp D:

The PDF is soooo large :P So, i found this circuit on the internet, i think it works; http://www.elexp.com/tips/comp2_f3.gif What do you think? PD; I'm not sure, but i think i found too a circuit on the page 271 of the PDF. If it is, i can't do it because I only have some resistors Thanks for...

The negative feedback amp is when you combine the negative input to the output, right?

    Help with audio amp D:

Ok, the solution was connecting the negative of the power source to the ground. Now, i got another problem =/ Ok, i have the circuit of two channels (attached) Please note that one amp is connected to the left and the other to the right signal of the PC (the signal generator I used in the...
