coul do with a list on here ,saying what projectors use what diodes! would save a lot of trawling thru threads!

ive seen that ,the issue i have is i salvaged some diodes from a casio xj-a135 projector,i thought they were 140a type diodes but they pop there cloggs at 1200ma,im trying to figure out what diodes i have and driver current etc.

any idea of the optical output power?,if i set them to burn anything they last about 10 seconds at most!

so i will say casio then,thought the copyright crap was bs!,dont bother to reply unless you have an answer relevant to the question asked,its a anoyance and waste of time.!!!!

forgot to mention the diodes are from a casi0 xj-a135 projector i think they are 140m diodes but after killing them im not so sure,anyone confirm this?

so after reading this thread im still no nearer to an answer,i have a ca$i0 xj-135 projector,i thought they were m-140a diodes in it,but if i run them at 1200ma they die,are they m-130 diodes,if so what are the specs any ideas?

the power supply is a 0-30v 0-30 amp homebrew linear using a lm723 ic etc,the output is clean,i connect the driver after the psu is turned on just in case for that reason.

the driver is heatsinked and fan cooled too!

thats a stupid answer on both counts! a the psu is stabilized with a capacity of 30+amps plus the diode hasnt time to overheat its in a copper heatsink!

Ive just noticed my m-140m looses a lot of power after its been on for a second,turn it off and back on it does the same,any ideas?,its driven at 1.8a from the driver board which is powered from a 30amp bench psu.

well ive been setting the driver to 1200ma for my m-140 a it works until i cycle power to the driver board then destroys the diode,is this a faulty driver? ive killed 3 so far like this!

anyone know the safe current limit for a a series diode?

i think most ppl already know that,a lot of posters here seem to reply to posts as if there talking to idiots!!

my comment was a mere observation! i see all to often a thread gets sidetracked and the original questions remain unanswered,i was looking for the same info,read the whole thread and still no nearer!!
