Yeah, I mentioned him to you a while back. The amazing thing is that he does it all by computer... but by free hand !!!

    Cool Knife.

Cool! I'm getting addicted (too) and came across a rough historical review of the L.C.C. Mine was sold as an S30-V although the image clearly showed 20C-V so I guess sometimes the seller's copying & pasting the specs for a particular version off the net... Here's a pretty decent...

    Cool Knife.

Wow, serious firepower... (or should that be slice n dice power, lol). I can't say I'm into the brass-knuckle stuff (the third image reminding me of a scene from Se7en...) but the fixed knives are pretty impressive! Say, what's that first one, is it an OTF?

Dave is Mean to his Diodes (445 Macros) IMAGE HEAVY

Great work, PBD! Do you have a camera system directly connected to a professional microscope?

    Cool Knife.

At $8, I think the answer's obvious. These blades, however... ;)

    6 Color Beam Shots!

You are 100% right - I had a lot of difficulties with my shots too. A mid-powered 445 should make for a nice comparison, so thanks for the effort

12x Murder Experiment - Take 2 (With 12x Comparison Plots)

I recently got an Aixiz 445 lens from JayRob and hopefully, will be able to take comparative shots over the weekend. I call my 445nm laser "razor lazor" because at close distances, the 445nm (+ 405-G-1 lens) will focus down to a razor-thin bar. It will literally burn a SLIT in a piece of...

    6 Color Beam Shots!

Ditto, but the 445 is somewhat overpowering and thus the comparison is difficult... :-/

    RA_pierce's Blue PGL-III-C 473nm 80mW Review

Congratulations - I'm happy for you! Heck, you certainly deserve it, having put in both the money, time and effort!!!

    A Plea for EYE Safety!!

Your math looks good to me! Macular degeneration is never a good thing and while my "ex" re-attaches retinas for a living (posterior surgeon), I don't think there's much that can be done for macular degeneration (particularly at an older age )... if you're still young, make sure to eat those...

    Cool Knife.

btw, what steel are used on both your L.C.C.s? Mine has a rather rare 20C-V... . Note that by using the term "rare" by no means implies better. This is certainly no S90-V steel... ;p

    Cool Knife.

I got lucky and found that thread. I'm sure you'll get something out of it too, PBD :) Well perhaps "messed up" is is going a bit too far... after all, those are carbon fiber grips and won't tear / crack unless placed under extraordinary stress... If something did go wrong, you could always move...

    Cool Knife.

Yeah, it's a 4th Gen and thus, has the Al (vs. Titanium) bolsters. I'd just assume have a 1st - or 3rd gen L.C.C. for the titanium bolsters. The 2nd Gen was screwed up due to them changing the grip/ bolster sizes but not moving the screw... the image I found a while back on one of the knife...
