Aren't CD-r's Infrared diodes? It's dangerous, as you wouldn't see it. DON'T connect any diodes straight to some batteries!!! At the very least use a capacitor and a resistor. But DDL's circuit would be the best! Dan :-)

If you have a decent PSU, like an Tagen, it should be as stable as anything. Then again, who in their right mind would use a £80+ decent PSU for messing with TEC's!

@turtle - nice! I don't have concrete figures of pricing yet, but it's going to be geared towards: if you buy a few, the price will plumet, as opposed to only purchasing 1 or 2. This is down the the postage costs.
