What dpss module is it?

if you are looking for a bright 5mw laser, i would suggest you look at laserglow's website, they have some good 5mw handheld lasers

if you have a 589nm laser (yellow-amber) and combine it with a 488nm laser (light-cyan) you will get a spot that appears white

The crystal is probably loose (as Ears and Eggs explained) or it could have a damaged pump diode. Do you hear a rattle when you move it around?
