I've seen some materials that dimly fluoresce under 594nm laser light and some materials that need below 300nm (UVC) to fluoresce. As Curtis said, a 395nm-405nm light source should be able to make most fluorescent materials glow brightly

I managed to find this old helium neon show laser! It isn't as old or interesting as some of the other lasers posted here but it is still quite near, it uses two large, oddly-shaped helium neon laser tubes, they are rated at 10mw each and the tubes features a full glass construction!

Try selling them on eBay, you may have better luck finding a buyer

Those PS3 diodes were the first 405nm diodes easily available to us

OPT hasn't vanished, they sell 558nm modules. if you ask them enough, they may sell you a 565nm module.

The wavelength varies a lot, I've seen some do 556nm at room temp and some do 564nm
