    New small 14500 (AA-sized) 445nm... 650mW ... $160obo

I built the actual host heatsink & laser a couple months ago but just got around to finishing the focus ring yesterday. Overall, there is less than one battery charge amount of use on the laser (for assembly, testing, and current setting). Everything is basically brand new. The body is a...

    Single 10440 RED LOC build

Re: single AAA or single 10440? turn the aixiz down to 10mm-10.5mm and then bore/drill out the tube for a press fit. If the tube is aluminum or copper it will conduct heat better. You can use thermal adhesive or interference fit to hold it in place.

can you anodize them assembled?? How do you keep acid from infiltrating the threads and breaking electrical contact? Or worse yet, not being able to rinse the acid out and risk corroding the threads together permanently?

Like tuna? Here's a dish I tried making tonight - was great.

TRIPLE POST! If you want a slightly more asian taste use the optional seasonings listed (instead of the spicy fire/ashes rub) and then instead of brushing olive oil on the fish use some mix of soy sauce/honey/water (or use heavy teryaki). That will cause the sesame and seasonings to stick well...

Like tuna? Here's a dish I tried making tonight - was great.

It is rare! :) It is literally cooked only for 20 sec per side side to sear in the seasonings. It's like a large slab of sushi.

Like tuna? Here's a dish I tried making tonight - was great.
