Looking to buy broken/nonworking SP-127 HeNe.

I am doing a laser project where I could use the framing/hardware from a long HeNe laser like the Spectra Physics 127, or equivalent SP-107 and SP-907. So if anyone has a nonworking SP-127 that they don't want, let me know as I could use it.

UPD: My portable builds with NUBM31/36: Rocket, Radar and Boombox

Nice, With 2 units you're sure cranking out the power.(y)

    Hilarious Chinese lens manufacturer name....

Ha Ha Ha, this is hilarious. At least they get free advertising/mockery.

New 505nm Diodes! | newb help

If someone did do I group buy, I'd be interested in 2x 505nm diodes and maybe 1x 488nm diode. I wonder if they are just the standard 35mW 505nm and 55mW 488nm diodes that are overdriven, but even if that is the case, the case (-) 505nm diodes are good. If anyone wants to do a Group Buy or...

    World’s Smallest PC Build ( IBM-5150 Clone )

That is awesome! I presume you use 3D printing to make the plastic molding/parts?

2 years of daily use and still going strong

Nice. Very unique housing! Always great when things don't break. What powers are they? Looks like 450nm and 520nm diodes?

New 505nm Diodes! | newb help

Thanhtung, what diode model number are they? Sounds like they are a different model than the 35mW rated original 505nm diodes. Is the 505nm wavelength tested and verified? Might be able to get enough interest.

    Wide beam low diverging laserpointers

I mean, yes, the manufacturers could change the lens FL's to get a wider beam,, but I don't think any will do so just to sell an small handful to people like you and me. And I can't think of any particular uses that require wider beams. At least the nice thing about experimenting with beam...

    Wide beam low diverging laserpointers

Yes, you could just use a longer focal length lens to get a wider beam. Though it needs to have a longer focal length and still be the correct width lens. I think some of the standard lense (G8, 3-elemtn etc.) do have a little different focal lengths, I don't know if any existing ones give near...

Traveling with a class IV 2w 450nm laser

I've never flown or transported lasers across boarders, but the things I would think of to do would be remove batteries and keep them in a separate area or bag, or better yet don't bring any batteries in at the same time at all. Then unfocus the lasers, and put protective caps on the lasers to...

Which are the most visible red lasers?

If you are simply going for Lumens, then you want lower wavelengths and higher power. For red this means 638nm, for simple raw power/lm, the 2.5W Mitsubishi ML562G84 would give the most lumens. But as often is the case, higher power leads to other compromises, in this case beam quality. The G84...

    Benefit to recording laser specs

I've estimated the power at ~10mW, but that is just a rough guess. I don't remember the drive current, I have it driven by a microboost. Because of the low power the heat build up is negligible, running it continuously for several minutes makes it only barely noticeably warm.

    Benefit to recording laser specs

I'll put them up here soon, oddly enough, the switch I just put in the 475nm just broke again, So I'll be doing a quick fix of that tonight. I think laser66 may have gotten a defective batch?

    Benefit to recording laser specs

The last two pictures are of my 494nm GH04955A2G in a C6, host. I just got pictures of whatever laser was in reach for examples. The 475nm laser was/is in a leadlight host, I actually had to destroy the original host to get it out safely as I really stuck in in well. I didn't want to do that...

custom Red laser made by Angelos Gianopolis. Lazeerer

Free bump? What is the wavelength? Normal 650nm/660nm I assume. Shouldn't this be in the buy/sell/trade section?

FDA compliance for manufacturers, some insight is needed

As others have noted, most here are not experts, so if this is an official product, it would need to be verified with a professional. One thing to note is if the laser beam is fully confined. If the laser is confined, like in a dvd or laser printer, then the finished device I think is...

Largest Commercial Helium Neon Laser In The World (Spectra Physics 125A)

That is a good question, Now I'm curious also. I know my SP-127 does not have those, though that is much shorter and only has one discharge. My guess would be for starting the discharge or for supporting the bore? It does look like the connecting wires are electrically connected to the...
