Using a microscope slide as a 'mirror', you will get second reflection from the rear surface and all sorts of internal relections. You'd be better using a front surface mirror and then through a ND filter to control the brightness. ATB

The driver is set up as "constant Current" - current is the fixed variable. The driver will automatically 'adjust' the voltage (as the resistance of the diode changed due to temp) and drive the diode at your desired current. Ohms law. ATB MM

Hi Things, Kiz, Each colour is controlled by a TTL PWM signal so I'll be able to fade each diode. Not as good as analogue, but still should look great. The PWM can have 255 steps on each chanel, but I recon the driver will top out or bottom out well before this, so even if I get only 32 steps...

Hi, Don't rule out 2D, all my stuff starts out as a 2D drawing and only converts to 3d if there is a real need. Generally you'll use 3D if the model data is used directly in the manufacturing. ATB MM
