Well, WL has very questionable business tactics and expensive, considerably underpowered lasers. Techlasers are affiliated with WL and have very bad customer service and often send defective lasers. Basically, they will scam you out of your hard earned money :P

DX lasers ARE very cheap. They do come with IR filters, just very weak ones (so I've heard, they just say they don't for legal purposes). Techlasers aren't good. They are affiliated to Wicked Lasers and should be avoided. The best company for your first laser is Nova Lasers (so I've been told)...

I know that people say the best WL products are the Dragon Case and Safety Glasses. However, people still say that their lower powered laser are good. Which ones would you recommend (WL look awesome, I'm not going to lie)? :)

Yeah, I was actually surprised when I saw that it was like 20 Watts or something like that. I really don't know a lot about building CO2 lasers but in the instructions it said that to build it, it would cost about 500. I really didn't want to try to waste 500 for something I have no idea how to...

I know how it feels everybody :'( . I was going to buy a laser from them. I was really excited and ready to buy a powerful one from them and then I found out about their business. I was actually pretty dissapointed but now I am buying I think a Nova X series laser. :)

Thanks to Timelord's answer on my last poll. I have gotten inspired for this poll. Here it it: Would you have gotten sucked into the Wicked Lasers scam (bought a laser, recommend it, etc) before you found out about their company and their questionable business practices?
