Their website says it's 25mm, that's way too big to fit in my laser.

Can this IR filter from optronics be trimmed down to size? By which I mean are the filters glass or some sort of plastic? What adhesive should I use to install it? And should it go between the diode and the focusing lens?

Oh yes I will definitely be using goggles, thanks for the info.

I have goggles on the way but is there no kind of filter that can be placed inside the head of the laser?

I recently purchased a laser that does not appear to have any IR filter that I can find. The front unscrews to reveal a sort of focusing lens. There is no sort of membrane between the front bezel, lens, and diode. Any suggestions? Thanks
