    Mitsubishi 638nm 300mW CW

Has anyone put this diode into a pointer? Because I definitely want one.

    WTB Red laser.

I want to buy the most powerful possible red laser in a 18650 host. I already have a 500mW 532nm Viasho, 1W 445nm WL, and soon I'm going to order the WL 200mW 405nm sonar (they reduced the price to $90). So the only major wavelength im missing in my collection is red. WL sells a 200mW 660nm for...

    0.08mW red laser from DX??

    I think they meant .08W. Or 80mW

How much $$$ did you loose due online-shopping

The only thing I have ever received DOA is a cheapo 20mW laser with 5 star caps. I bought three of them for my cousins and one of them was DOA.

    DX Cheap - MC-E vs P7

They are both pieces of crap. And an LED that powerful does not belong in a flashlight that small. It will heat up and burn out, and it wont even produce near the amount of the claimed lumens. Leave it for the XPG and XRE's for the small P60 UltraFire lights.

    What lights do you have?

It is a TIGHT fit. Two unprotected 18650's will fit so tightly that you cant use a spring in the tailcap. Also you have to remove some of the anodizing on the inside of the tailcap. The 2C Mag is a great size for a flashlight, and is durable as hell.

Custom 900 Lumen Maglite - Made to order - Sell or Trade

Would consider it! BUMP Also, I'm willing to trade for a 445nm blue pen. I already purchased the arctic.

    What lights do you have?

I don't really know the details as far the exactly how LED's work, more like how to use them. But I can tell you that is correct. That is why if you use an LED with an aspheric lens and project the LED onto a wall or ceiling it displays th exact shape of the emitter along with the colors the of...

    What lights do you have?

XPG's are an AWESOME LED. My favorite light is my triple R5 2C Maglite. It uses two 18650's. Hours of runtime and ~1000 lumens.

    What lights do you have?

No, I used a 4D Maglite with a spacer. So its like a 4.2D Maglite. And I wish I had a 7D Maglite, they discontinued them in 1990. And that ROP pelican 2D Mag mod had to have used Li-Ions to power it. That is where it got its runtime. If the same battery format was with a P7 the runtime would be...

    What lights do you have?

The WL torch is grossly overrated. 5 minute runtime? Forget about it. I dont use Incandescent bulbs for a reason And that 6600lm Maglite was something I built for a customer, consisted of three SST-90 LED's, never got a chance to use it for myself. Battery life is just over an hour. And didn't...

    Some Nice DX torches.

I didn't consider the options of it being direct drive. On the Specifications list on Seouls website they state that the maximum current draw on the c bin (@ 3.6v ofcourse) is 2500mA and the D bin 2800mA.

    tailcap repair?

I've replaced them on several occasions. Not because they broke though. I've even made my own rear clickies on the tailcaps of Maglites.

    Best torch for about $50-100

The best light you can buy for under $100? I'm going to say anything made by 4Sevens, as it is my favorite manufacturer.

    Some Nice DX torches.

The C bin P7 draws 2.5 amps @ 3.6 volts A D bin draws 2.8 amps @ 3.6 volts. Assuming that the circuit driver and/or batteries allows that high current.

    The LED Thread

Cree may make the most efficient LED's, but Luminus holds the record for the brightest. 2200 lumens @ 36 watts.

    What lights do you have?

Aside from my all my mod'd Maglites? The only stock flashligt I own is the Fenix LD20. The rest are 900~6600lm Maglite monsters.

Flashlight Review: Power on Board 3500 Lumen HID Spotlight

Im my non-bias personal opinion, the most cost effective spotlight is the Stanley HID. 3000lm @ $60
