It wasn't too long ago that I was 12 myself. Nobody here is going to be able to judge like you can. You know your brother, none of us do. I was a pretty responsible person at age 12. I was in a situation where I HAD to be though. I say give him a chance, until you see him using it irresponsibly.

Well, I replaced the batteries and it doesn't seem to do it quite as MUCH, but it still does it sometimes. Its not really a dim that you'd notice unless you knew how bright it could be. For example, when I turn the laser on, pressed against my finger, I see it light up bright, and then cut back...

Hey there, I'm soooo glad I found this forum. You've gotta admit that the LEDshoppe site looks a bit sketchy...and all the broken english...I was scared :p I went ahead and ordered a 50mw laser last night. My friend has a 75mw laser from dragon lasers. I'm not expecting mine to be anywhere near...
