Quality of O-Like/Rayfoss goggles? (T-Rex brand)

Hello all, I was wondering about the quality of the O-Like/Rayfoss goggles. (T-Rex brand) They're said to be OD5/OD6, but the dot is very visible through them. Would anyone be nice enough to use a LPM to meter how good these filter? Thanks, Valid.

Hit eye with 200mW red - specular reflection?

Bumpbumpbump. Saw an eye doctor a few days ago, no retinal damage is visible, I do have an afterimage though, it'll go away but it might take a few weeks. At least, that was what I were told. I've learned my lesson I guess. ;)

Hit eye with 200mW red - specular reflection?

:bumpit: Even after 24 hours no damage shows up and my vision seems normal. One of my eyes is a bit blurry, but I highely doubt that would be damage caused by the laser. I decided not to go to get my eyes checked staight away, but wait for my next appointment. I think I have gotten very...

Hit eye with 200mW red - specular reflection?

Everything seems 'normal' right now, I have no problems at all reading text, and nothing seems 'blurred'.

Hit eye with 200mW red - specular reflection?

I was pointing out something with my laser, and it hit a silver candle holder, it reflected all across the room and hit my eye. I blinked and saw a black dot for about 1 minute. My vision seems normal now. Should I be worried?

A big difference in "Brightness"? (5mW and 200mW)

I have recently ordered a 200mW red laser, and I am wondering if it is alot brighter than your regular 5mW pointer. I am curious for your opinions, because most of the time video's just don't do justice. ;)

    All possible uses for lasers

There are so many great uses of lasers, I can remember reading an article a few days ago about Google making a car driving all by itself... using lasers.

    kaleidoscopic pens from rayfoss

Rayfoss customer service is great, so you should just mail them, and if you really worry about it just ask for a refund.

Review of the Wicked Lasers Arctic G2

I must say, that was one great review, personally I don't mind the filler stuff, it's quite amusing to read.

    Rayfoss 200mW Red waterproof

Have you checked the power with a LPM, or have you asked Faona for a power meting? (Seeing how your signature says "215mW".

    kaleidoscopic pens from rayfoss

Have you tried taking off the cap? Does it look brighter that way? If not, ask Faona about it, she probably knows.

Necessary for a laser store to have a LPM?

In my opinion it's great if a shop provides actual stats about power, using a LPM. However, I can also imagine it will take a lot of work to meter all the units you're shipping. You could, for example, add the LPM graphs for an additional cost. (for example, 2$).

    Rayfoss vs O-like

I ordered a laser from Rayfoss, haven't received it yet, so I can't say much about the actual quality, but I have to say the customer service is great! As soon as I paid for the laser and send a mail I got an allocated Tracking Number, I've read lot of posts claiming people getting no Tracking...

    Broken green laser pointer?

I can only keep repeating what everybody in here said: Never look into a laser, no matter how broken it is! (En als je in Nederland woont suggereer ik je om gewoon een Laser uit het buitenland te kopen, in Nederland zelf kom je niet zo makkelijk aan een Laser, en ik neem aan dat je geen...

    Greetings!

Hi all. I'm Valid, I'm new on this forum, and new with lasers in general. :yh: I live in the Netherlands. Laws regarding lasers are weird here, you're not allowed to buy them, but once you have them, it's perfectly legal, except for Class 4 lasers. (And you're not allowed to own Class...
