remember for a heatsink to work properly it must have some mass along with cooling fins. if it doesnt have the mass to absorb the heat to begin with the cooling fins cant do their job. ;)

looks like a crappy machining job to me. maybe chuck should find a little better machine shop to make his parts. the holes arent even deburred.. just looks sloppy. also uses a screw to hold the module in.. not very good looking to me.. you can tell from the pic the HS is too big for a module...

theyre both probably about the same diode from what i can tell. since the lpc sleds are cheaper id probably suggest just getting an lpc unless you want to spend the money. the upside to the 822 is the diode is brand new and has longer pins but thats about it.
