JK ;) I don't think that stand is safe. If the laser is not strongly in a fixed position, it could bounce off something unexpectedly and hit you in the eye.

Does anyone know if a CR2 battery is skinny enough to fit into a battery slot in a maglite ment to hold AAs? I am trying to make a new waterproof housing for an old 100mW WL pointer and when I use this housing there is not enough room for two or even 1 AA batt. So would a CR2 work?

It actually works better than anything I have ever tried and I have had a lot of lasers. I tried it as a last resort on my 95mW pen from WL which was about 2 years old. I wouldn't have risked it otherwise. It had such bad dust that I thought it had mode hopping issues. It was fixed immediately.

Well I am going to order one soon. I have to admit, I think dragon lasers is a reputable company based on what I have seen and heard. I will reserve judgment until I receive my lasers though. My order should be large enough that it will prove whether the company advertises true outputs or not.
