Has Anybody Had Trouble With Jetlasers ?
I purchased a 100mw Ti-B and it arrived today damaged from what appears to be being dropped on concrete. The UPS international mailer envelope was intact, the cardboard box inside had no visible damage. Inside the box there was three layers of bubble wrap around the plastic case. Inside the foam lined case, the host was encased in two layers of bubble wrap. Additionally anti static bags covered the body and tail cap. Nothing had any signs of damage, however when I removed the laser I noticed several deep scratches on the main body and the titanium tail cap is cracked! I purchased this laser based on all the praise that members give Jetlasers. Has anyone else has a bad experience? I have pics but I'm not sure how to link them to the site. The laser seems well made but I'm concerned if rough handling buy customs or whoever caused the damage has jeopardized the life of the diode or driver.
