I was thinking that it couldn't be done haha. I actually bought a couple of these 5mW lasers off eBay hoping to pot mod a couple of them but as it turned out there was no pot :( is there anyway I could bypass a resistor of anysort to make it brighter at all?

I have read many times on the forum that modding your laser is bad and how it would probably ruin your laser in a second but the laser i have is basically already ruined and I really want to know how to mod it. I have four other lasers exactly like it so if this one is completely trashed I wont...
