Aspherical Lenses for 350-700nm Laser diodes

Hi guys, I did some thinking, about geting more intensive focus and I get asking myselve - why the hell peopple don't use hyperbolic lens - is there anybody who sells them? What is the price compared to aspherical lens?

I thought you could still direct me to somebody that has those lenses. Thanks and sory for disturbance. Regards...

Aspherical Lenses for 350-700nm Laser diodes

Hi, I need aspherical lens for 915nm wavelength, OD from 15 to 20mm. I want to focus light from optical fibre 0,22NA. Do you have something alike for sell?

Guys I tested power supply with multiple diodes as suggested. If anybody is interested here is 50W laser led diode 915nm, melting wire solder on pcb... enjoy... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMjuf0n2kIk

Hi, I made dummy load with diode bridge as you suggested. There is no resistor in series with diode, but I have shunt resistor in my 10A current driver. However dummy load doesn't eat any current... How is this possible? How do I know that? Heat sink is cool as the summer beer ;) What's...

Yes my laser diode is CW type but to use it with CNC and regulate power I use PWM power pulse on diode itself. So my pwm on my diode is 10kHz. To simulate possible voltage spikes at transition do you think I should think of low capacity rectifier bridge? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

I found following in literature: Test Load* A common method to test the driver is to connect a regular silicon rectifier diode to the driver output. Here has to be paid attention to the junction*capacitance*of the diode. Only fast recovery diodes (or similar) have a low parasitic*capacitance*as...

OK think I found everything from Farnell. Would this rectifier bridge be ok? http://si.farnell.com/jsp/search/productdetail.jsp?SKU=1861526 Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Thank you very much. I am not from USA. It would be great if you can give me equivalent part number from Farnell. I tried also to find shunt with no success... Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Wanna cut some materials with it... Can you please suggest parts so I can build my own dummy load? resistor value, wattage of trasistor, and the quantity and part number of diodes and their current rates? They should be in series right?

The question was for the creator of this nice dummy load, is it possible to adapt it so it could test higher currents like 11.5A and 10.5 Volts. For "800 Volt 35 Amp MB35 Bridge Rectifier Diode" - should I connect resistor in series with it to mimic laser diode operation? If yes - what...

I need to test 10.5V operating 11.5A laser diode. Would it be OK just to mount heatsing with thermal paste on this dummy load? Can you make resistor and diodes suitable to handle 11.5A and allow load selecting to 10.5V?
