whats the diffrence between the RPL and PPL?

i havnt really looked into the RPL's much but ive only heard good things about them. Does optoronics have a code for a disscount?

theres to many variables to give 1 answer but the averages ive seen for a good 100mw green is around 30-40 miles

welcome to the forums i am also new and i have this same question i dont care much about the safty things but ive heard the alpha feels more solid and stable and doesnt get warm. however the x-series is cheaper and when your 15 like me that starts to matter. so i cant really answer your question...

ok thanks i think i will go for the x-series. but for the batteries should i go with rechargable AAA or just normal energizer/duracell
