    blocking radio waves/micro waves

that's a tough one :) calling the police is a fair method, but it can depend on the police (some will check back regularly) or other factors, eg. whether your neighbor will know who it was and do something asinine in revenge. some people are just inconsiderate, and retaliation doesn't always...

    blocking radio waves/micro waves

Rationale? :) How about Court to Defendant: Stop Blasting That Man’s Mind! | Danger Room | Wired.com I know it's not a notion that wins a lot of confidence with others, but considering the proliferation of gems like "How to get even," it's inevitable that electronic techniques are going to be...

    blocking radio waves/micro waves

Noise transmitted at the same frequency would undoubtedly be effective.. I expect an old cell could be hacked into a transmitter fairly easily. Does anyone feel like testing the magnet theory? I'm not a cellphone user and don't have any magnets larger than the plastic ones on the refrigerator...

    blocking radio waves/micro waves

Thank you, I know about faraday cages, I was wondering if there was any more makeshift method, eg. making a noise transmitter, magnets, or what have you :)

    blocking radio waves/micro waves

Are there any cost effective and simple ways to impede radio and similar signals? On a scale of say 2 feet, 5 feet.. small :) something you could say place near a radio antenna or cell phone that would stop reception?

    Super Beast Green

note for anyone following this and considering a purchase: opened my super beast 100 up again today and turned the pot DOWN - it now performs reliably :D when i first received it it was probably at the edge on the highest setting in the performance range. of course, my reaction (coming from a...

    focusing 405nM ebay 5mW

hopefully i can say this without seeming injurious in the slightest.. i've been razzed for using lowercase in colloquial venues frequently for say 15 years.. you're the most forgiving of all the people who have mentioned it. cheers for that (and for the correction on notation).

    focusing 405nM ebay 5mW

THANKS! :) knowing whether something is threaded or pressfitted makes a lot of difference when disassembling :) re: caps, i'm a developer, and the omittance of shift saves me a lot of energy throughout the course of the day/decades :) i tend towards inline scripting.. :P :)

    focusing 405nM ebay 5mW

checking the thread on 'what do you use your ebay 405nM for,' the only mention of focusing the lens indicates the end had to be hacked off. i tried taking it apart from the inside but didn't like my chances. has anyone managed to focus the lens on one of these without cutting it? nice item...

    EMF meter recommendations

he's doing someone else :hihi: there's a video from years before that of an older gentleman, the relevant search criteria escape me. audio dsp is full of flux capacitors ;) i'm not really sure if coded would be an accurate description of my criteria :) the greater part of my interest is in...

    Super Beast Green

took my 100 outside last night and discovered that it *does* work.. some of the time. most of the time it has no visible beam and creates a dot that can be seen say 100' away. about 30% of the time, however, it works properly, creating a beam that is visible for several miles, judging by the...
