So I live in NZ and I had already bought this laser and I had it for about 2 hours and the wires came off... I am wondering where I can get an easier to use/build ~200mw green laser... In NZ you can't buy anything over 1mw and so as far as I know ordering a fully finished laser is out of the...

I took it back and they tested it while I was there... They tried adjusting the pot and found that it was broken... When they tried adjusting it it just spun around... They ordered a new one and will test it when it arrives...

I want a green one that I can hit the hill/peak about 1 km away... I know a 10mW can do this easily...

Here in NZ it is illegal to try importing a laser pointer over 1mW... The only way to get one is to buy the module and do the rest yourself...

Just did that and well here are the results I also did it in a completely dark room and could only see the onboard light... also another pic of the setup (yes the wires are going in one side of the picture and entering the other... they are about 30cm long)
