just ordered parts for my first handheld laser, and cant wait to start the build. I'm an engineer, love mechanics, but just recently started to get interested in electronics as well. This might be a good second step after my little solar panel experiments. cheers

I'm building my own host at the moment, but was wondering if the host acts as a conductor for the current flow, or is there a different way to get the battery's negative connected to the driver? thanks! grtz
