I would get a higher power 635 because I had a 5mw 635 and it was boring. The color is VERY hard to tell from 650 and the dot is just crappier and rectangular

Hello and welcome to my thread with pictures I took A jayrob leadlight and a techhood 80mw osram 450nm. I took the heatsinking from a broken ebay laser and super glued it on. The laser runs on 2x 10440s. Before I put the heatsink on the duty cycle was 20sec on/1min off, and with the heat sink...

Why not use arctic silver thermal grease to slide it in, wouldn't that help?
