Laser diode pictures - HIGH magnification

I agree that the lasing would be good but i am afraid that it wont be so good to this microscope, and it is not a cheap one :-). I should try with few mA's but unfortunately i dont have the equipment for it.

Laser diode pictures - HIGH magnification

These pictures was done by a very good digital microscope. It has an internal step engine. It can move up and down by microns in the finest step. I can set the lower and upper limit, where the microscope will do multiple images. These images are put together so that the part with highest...

Laser diode pictures - HIGH magnification

I used a digital microscope with depth up compensation. Magnification range is 20-1000x. By the way the original picture size is 1600x1200.

Laser diode pictures - HIGH magnification

Hi, I have made some picture from a Rayfoss laserdiode. It is a red (650 nm) diode. The highest magnification is 1000x. I hope somebody will like it! Check the attachment! :yh:

    UFO or 445 laser?

I found this news today: Myfoxdc.com I don't think it is a UFO, rather a 445 laser on the clouds. The color is definetly 445 blue. Can it be? What do you think?

1W Spartan 447nm demonstration and Arctic Lens's attached!

Where can I buy a line generator optics, that are made from glas? It would be wonderful with smoke.

    1W 445nm Rayfoss

Mine isn't from Rayfoss. My 445 is a DIY with an 18650 aurora kit by jayrob and a140 diode. Mine has approx. 500 mW output with a 900mA current draw from the battery.

Want buy a very bright laserpointer

This is a very powerful laser. You will like it. I had the same. The duty cycle is very important, don't use your laser more than 1 min! I have damaged mine in my spirograph :(. There is a review in my signature from it.

    1W 445nm Rayfoss

My 445 works with one 18650 battery in a jayrob kit, it eats 900mA from the Battery, and 540mA at the diode. If this one doesn't consume 1A from battery, It can't do 1W output. For an 1W output you need the 1A at the diode. You need an >1A current draw from battery even if you use two batteries.

    More Purple Than Blue

For me 445nm is royal blue. I think this is the perfect name of the color what is not purple and neither classic blue.

New kid on the block? The 12x BDR-S06J

I think it is a fiducial mark for the matrix code.

Whats Bettter, green or violet? (200mw)

I think, if you are new in lasers, DON'T buy a 200 mW violet at first. Becouse you won't sense its power. You will burn with green too, and you will see why do you need goggles for burning, and you will have more fun with the greenie. :) But it's your choice. BTW the green lasers are at the same...

1.6W Peak 445nm SS 18650 Jayrob host W/'custom 'Hot' option' heatsink on driver

It doesn't move at all. It is more stable with the o-ring I think. :) And as I wrote before the full host get warm, so the heatsinking is also perfect.

1.6W Peak 445nm SS 18650 Jayrob host W/'custom 'Hot' option' heatsink on driver

The green ring is the o-ring for the flashlight host for waterproof. I put it there because this way I can twist the driver holder ring more tight. The ring is flexible. The heatsinking is very good! The full body get warm but slowly, and I can use it with long duty cycle (more than 2 min, it...

1.6W Peak 445nm SS 18650 Jayrob host W/'custom 'Hot' option' heatsink on driver

Here is some pictures that I promised. I don't have a good camera, neither good photography skills so excuse me. I used teflon tape on the aixiz lens to make the twisting smooth and tight. I didn't use spring. The green is the 150mW o-like cute, what is in my signature.
