In the theory it would NOT burn as good as the RPL-300 because of the difference in beam diameter (1,45 mm vs. 2 mm). But how is it in real life? Can you feel any difference in short range (and long) burn quality because of the diameter?

Re: LG or Opto? Ok, I am definately gonna buy a RPL-260 or an 300 (if they get cheaper?) That leads me to my next question: Should i choose the adjustable or the normal one? It seems like a good idea with the adjustable output, but what do you guys think?

Re: LG or Opto? I didn´t choose the Hercules because it´s too big and it uses 3 D size batteries. But what about a Aries-125 with a beam expander? Wouldn´t it be just as powerful as the RPL-260?
