I don't have much experience with laser's, is a possibility of ruining something?

I have had my O-like 50mw focusable green for a while now, and used it outside for the first time recently. I noticed that the laser Beam isn't vertical/centered with the laser and it is very noticeable, i don't know how i didn't notice at first but now i do. I don't know how to explain it so...

The 50 mw laser i got from O-Like can use 18650 batteries to, but idk which to get! I want ones that are rechargeable! I have done a little bit of research and found some known 18650's, the UltraFire and TrustFire batteries. Does anyone know what i should get?
