nope, cleaning didnt work but is the diode window the small thin mirror surface on the diode? Then cleaning it should be very dangerous

I finished my first 650nm SOC @ 300mA build yesterday, lasers are amazing! so i am wondering is the beam supposed to look like this from around 6m? I can see interference patterns and a lot of random speckles heres the same beam with less power and also, i seem to have a scratch on my lens...

Is it possible to change the pump diode in a cheap ebay green laser for a higher powered one for more 532nm output? If it is then it would be too good to be true?:p
