I just got a 1.25W blue WL in the mail so you can definitely still get them through customs. They labeled it as a torch though.

The problem is that the average user buying a laser pointer has no idea what the difference is between 5mW, 5W or even 5MW. All they know is that the bigger the better and it doesn't get much better than 10000mW :evil:

Hahaha, I've had the same thing happen to me.

I would have just put two poles in front of his cameras to block his view. However I must admit that your method makes this thread is far more entertaining! Just be careful not to give your landlord a real reason to be upset with you.
