If I want mine to be a burning laser is 175ma too much? That should be around 150mw correct? Or would it be better to run it at around 165ma-170-ma?

Ok so I figured out after I do the modification to the flexdrive, I will turn the pot all the way counter clockwiuse and the about 1/8 to 1/4 turn clockwise which should give me about 140mW -150mW. Also any tips on soldering the diode to the driver. The diode comes in a module with wires...
