Self-Defense ~ Bear with me for a moment!

Crash I am surprised how much you like to write :-) But didn't you say, already in the beginning of this topic, that you expected that some commenter’s would get itchy with your questions. So knowing that and seeing how it worked out after a few days I believe there is no reason to complain...

Self-Defense ~ Bear with me for a moment!

@TheDukeAnumber from what I understand the American and Canadian pump guns have a special valve relief that will keep the power output of the gun under the legal limit. The ones we can get in NZ don't have such a max pressure valve what makes it as strong as the times you pump the gun. For...

Self-Defense ~ Bear with me for a moment!

There are some airguns out there that work with .25 pellets and can do some serious harm. Some airrifles can reach 1600ft p/s. Or take a pumpgun and pump it 10 times and have the force of real gun. Still all legal and possible without a permision. You only need to be +18. FYI on eye damage from...

Self-Defense ~ Bear with me for a moment!

Somewhere else in this forum I read about how the invisible IR lasers pop someone’s eyeball after directing it towards them. Big danger with these is that the eye(lid) does not react on the IR so the victim/intruder gets the full load on his eye without knowing, at the moment it happens and...

    Jetlaser Or WickedLasers?

it seems to me this looks like the end of WL I am so happy I found this forum. Imagine I had ordered weeks ago with WL to find out weeks later I paid 40% more than necessary.. I am very confident waiting now for JL to send me the precious goods I ordered.

    Night Vision Goggles

Cyparagon thanks for that info I will watch not to destroy anything and be extra cautious with FLIR in combination with CO2 lasers

    Night Vision Goggles

Cyparagon what means that I could see on the FLIR only the point where the laser hits a solid surface and releases its energy. How in a misty environment or in the clouds where it bounces and interacts with the water droplets?

    Night Vision Goggles

In combat they using this technique to point to each other the enemy without the enemy knowing where they are. Visible lasers always immediately telling where you are positioned. The same for hunting it does not scare the animal with normal visible bright light.

Why do you think Wicked Lasers is such a bad company?

WL has some cool looking overhyped stuff where JL has cool looking underhyped stuff with double the power for half the price ;-)

Why do you think Wicked Lasers is such a bad company?

Yes IWIRE you are 100% right. Gray is taking all the time to explain me everything. Not some short half sorted answers but very indebt explanations of everything I want to know before I decide what’s best for me. Looks like a no brainer. On the other hand I get since 2 weeks bombarded with WL...

    Night Vision Goggles

When I want in complete pitch dark to enlighten the aria I am watching with a 3W infrared laser 980nm laser can I see the result with night vision goggles and do I need on top of them the protective goggles and will this work. I assume the night vision goggles do give no protection to my eyes...

Why do you think Wicked Lasers is such a bad company?

Encap thanks for all your information. I am on to it and discussing the possibilities and options with Gray ;-)

Why do you think Wicked Lasers is such a bad company?

I am wondering would it for artistic laser wood burning not just better to work with a infrared laser so you don’t impair to much your own view on the contact surface during painting/burning. I understand that too much power with a colored beam is an obstruction to see what you paint and makes...
