Hi everyone,
I am completely stuck between two choices and I would like your advice/ what you think is better. I am building a 445nm laser with a nice host which has a great heatsink for the FMT driver. The X drive runs at 1.8A and costs 15$ and the FMT driver runs at 1.7A and costs 27$, giving...
Wouldn't this be a better choice?
2Pcs UltraFire 18350 1200mAh 3.7V Rechargeable Battery | eBay
Of course they are not 1200mAh but I think they will still be more than the 700maH 16340's you linked me, sinner.
I am thinking of buying this laser module from DTR: 2W Copper 445nm M140 Blue Laser Module W/X-Drive & 405-G-2 Glass Lens | eBay

So.. I...
So if it is overcharged to 4.2V, will the battery ACTUALLY be 4.2V when you start using it in the laser? The text on my charger is in Chinese, but it says something with 4.2V +-1% as well, so I assume it is the maximum overcharge.
Does the battery degrade faster this way/ any laser components?

I will however be using it with a (cheap) Chinese charger that came with a green laser from DX.
Using a cheap charger to charge the Panasonic...
Haha great! Except I prefer the DX host over the Ebay one, I will choose depending on the price of the heatsink + shipping.
When you get the Ebay host, can you tell me if it has a heatsink installed?
