I've got one, and it certainly should make stuff smoke. I'm sure you already know how to work the smartswitch, but did you change it from low power strobe to high power continuous beam before you tried to burn things? If its the standard lens, it should say 100% on that sticker. Those other two...

So I was digging around my basement and found this big quartz crystal. I decided to shine my 445 into it and take some pics (great thing about pics, you cant see what happens in full color with goggles, but pictures are always safe to look at :cool: The result was much more than I expected...

Hm, well, I'll find out if that one fluoresces when it gets here. If not, it was only $5. I've spent more than that on stuff I'll regret much more. Well, just following up, this piece doesn't fluoresce. Too bad...
