Mine came in a snap-lid box with foam inside and spaces cut in it for the laser and a battery. Doesn't say anything on the box, but inside it only says "Laser Pointer".

I just got one of these lasers about 2 weeks ago. My first laser >5mW, so I'm a relative newbie. I've been having quite some fun with it. The internals of mine look different than that of the OPs pics though. I also tested the current and it seems to draw around 350mA from a nearly full charged...
