Ok, I ordered the laser from skylaser, but I also want to get some rechargeable batteries. I found some on ebay, but they are 3.7V instead of 3V. Is this fine for the laser? They also have protected batteries, but they are 1/8 inch taller. Do I need this?

I went to purchase the laser, it says I can add an IR filter for $1.57, should I do that?
