It is a multidiode laser so it has a rectangular shape, but you can get fooled that it is single mode (even more with how clean the dot is) unless looking at the dot I would say 20 meters+. Edit: multiMODE not multidiode, sorry.

Thanks, as I told Radim the reason for that should be the divergence of the laser itself. Basically the divergence on 473nm and 532nm is pretty low and even when expanded 10x at the output there is not going to be a lot of difference. It will be quite hard to choose where to focus the expander...
