    445nm >FIRST BUILD<

Here are the manufacturer specs. I realise these can be completely wrong but, So a 4.5v input at around 300mA (with cells) should do the trick? Can i have a link to a "boost" driver. Is this like a flex driver?

Thanks for all the help guys, really appreciate it :) Yeah, it seems my idea of lasers is much more simplfied than it is in real life. Multiple lasers will be somewhat more complex to work with, so maybe, i should put that idea to the side. Still, a single 445 would make a nice first start i...

    445nm >FIRST BUILD<

Mega-noob to lasers, but im eager to learn :) My plan is to build a portable multi-laser.... thing. It will utilise 3 - 12 diodes and a moving parabolic mirror to change the focus. Much like a reflective telescope, but, well, backwards. I have been advised against the cheap 808nm 300mW diodes...

    I want to build this

Well i dont know where to start, i mean i salvaged laser diodes from DVD drives but i cant seem to power them. Can you point me to a good guide?

With these: 808nm 300mW High Power Burning IR Laser Diode DIY Lab | eBay UK 6 x 300mW diodes with adjustable focus. No idea how to would be powered, what shape parabolic mirror i need and if i need any lenses. I have about £100 for the project. Can you guys help? I have a GCSE in electronics...
