I don't like how those flash light style lasers use a strange 3v battery but since it's 3v it should be possible to make 2 AA batteries work with it but an adaptor would have to be made.

I removed the black pieces of sponge and took a dremel and carved a hole in my Laser case to get access to the Pot. There was metal dust all over the inside of the laser so I used compressed air to remove the dust before I powered it up again and it still works. I have tried and tried to adjust...

On the Green Lasers page where you posted your topic there is another topic called "Dim DX True 30mw"

That's what happened to me too , when I ordered it was listed as "in stock" but it was actually out of stock. they sent me the other stuff I ordered first with a letter that said that I would receive the laser separately when stock arrived.

How can I find out if I received the right laser? I orderd a "True Green Laser" 30mw from DX and I there is nothing at all on the laser or in the box that says "True". I'm wondering if I should take a chance and order a different laser in hopes of getting a well working one. So far my True...
