    Laserglow Lyra safety vs brightness?

123splat thanks actually though this laser has an IR filter, it's why I went with laserglow. At least in their explanation of the IR filter on green lasers it sounds like the filter is effective.

    Laserglow Lyra safety vs brightness?

Yeah I mean I don't plan on aiming the thing at anyone's eyes but accidents happen. I actually wanted the lesser powered Lyra, but meant to get the Anser though because aesthetics don't really matter that much and I was just thinking less than 5mw is ok.. And then I found the Lyra C5 for $31...

    Laserglow Lyra safety vs brightness?

I was wondering if you could help me with some second doubts I'm having over a laser I bought. I got the 532 nm Laserglow Lyra c5. I'm having second thought on whether I should change to the 1 mW Lyra or the 3-4 mW, for safety reasons. The one I got is the 4-5 mW. I've never seen these side...

5mW 405 nm blue violet laser from ebay - safe?

Alex: Yup I've been undecided between the two and maybe you can help since you own both. I don't want to get in trouble since it's not about the blue. Are the libra and the anser about equally eye safe? And is there a big difference in how visible they are?

5mW 405 nm blue violet laser from ebay - safe?

Thanks guys. I have some ideas after looking around on lazerer's site of some other things I can try with this $3 laser. I might find some use to it after all... Thanks vortish, good point I'm new and hadn't looked into the avatar at all. :) Alex thanks. Yes the reason I got the laser for...

5mW 405 nm blue violet laser from ebay - safe?

I purchased this laser pointer from ebay, wicked cheap so no biggie it was $3, before I knew any better. I decided not to use the laser for my original intention after reading some reviews of a similar laser here that were way off spec. I asked the seller if he had true on spec lasers under 5mW...

Help: laser pointer for my service dog

Dogs aren't colorblind. They see colors but they see less colors than we do. Reds look like browns to them, greens look yellow and they see blues pretty much just like we do.

Help: laser pointer for my service dog

Hi I was wondering if someone here can help me find a good, safe laser pointer. Green <5mW with a filter. My primary use is to point out items for my service dog to retrieve for me. We currently use a red iHome laser but it's often not bright enough in daylight and I was told a green laser...
