Yeah, I made if flush. What should I push it in with? I was hard enough to get it flush.

I have my blu-ray diode mounted in a meredith glass lense and the dot gets smaller when you bring the lense in closer but it's still not focused when it's in as far as it can go. I'm only running it at about 25mA which was just enough to make it turn on. Am I running it at to low of a power or...

Didn't thinnk about that, thanks for the heads up. I'm glad my safety glasses aren't here yet because I probably would have plugged the blu-ray into my breadboard already haha. Yeah, I have one but I was just using this to test my driver so I didn't bother putting it on.

Very nice! I have that same DVD burner coming in today :) What driver are you using? I made a LM317 driver but this will be my first attempt at making a laser and I'm kind of worried I'll ruin it.
