Does the RPL laser have the built in 3 second delay for the beam? I have seen people mention that the larger portable lasers have this feature like the Alpha series. This is a feature I'd rather avoid.

What method did you use to determine the absence of infrared radiation?

I do not think that the police would use that laser unit, it's falsely advertised and unsafe at close range.
