Is it possible to build a laser pointer in which the laser can be activated away from the housing? Roughly 6 feet away. Like extending a wire away?

Or just the longest pressure switch available.

I'm looking for a laser pointer that has a cable and a pressure pad for training purposes. Does not have to be high power but enough to be visible in the sun light at distances out to 20 meters. Preferably inexpensive. Thank you.
