    Relativity in games

I suppose I should clarify more. Does the forum know of any games where a central mechanic is relativistic effects? Like, a Strategy game where your units age slower if they're moving quickly, or if they're far from a gravity well? Or perchance a platformer where the stage ahead of you gets...

    Relativity in games

Does anybody know of any video games that deal with the time dialation and other general weirdness caused by high velocities? I am aware of one game that does, A Slower Speed of Light, which is totally worth checking out, but I wonder if there are any others?

Has anyone here used a laser to do a double slit experiment?

I don't see why it wouldn't, although I will admit I've only seen diffraction demonstrations with 50um? slit width.

Has anyone here used a laser to do a double slit experiment?

You mean something like the wavelength is too big, and the wave can't fit through the slit?

Has anyone here used a laser to do a double slit experiment?

Yes. I suppose I'd just solve for d in the above equation.

Has anyone here used a laser to do a double slit experiment?

So... If I had a diffraction grating, I could use a laser of known wavelength to find the gratings lines/cm?

Has anyone here used a laser to do a double slit experiment?

Ah! Double Slit experiment! *digs out physics notebook* I think I can pull out an equation to determine wavelength! ƛ=(dy)÷L ƛ is wavelength of your laser d is distance between the centers of the two slits y is how far the center of the first bright spot from the middle is from the center...

    Hello from KS

Hey all, I'm a young-ish biology major in college, and I've been drooling over these upper-level lasers for a while now. My first non-pen laser is this lovely little 50mw 532nm (pretty sure on the 50mw) that I got off Ebay for 12$. Goggles are in the mail, too, so don't worry too much. :P...

    Questions before I ignite a Li-Ion battery

I see. I thought as such. Do you also know if there's any way to tell if it has an IR filter on it?

    Questions before I ignite a Li-Ion battery

Hello! I've recently come into possession of one of the ubiquitous YL-Laser 301's, and I had some questions before I did anything with it. First, the BTL 18650 6000mAh 3.7V battery was in the host with its' negative end facing the tailcap. Looking inside, I can see a spring coming off of the...
