Encap A spot size of max 5mm would be ok for this project at 2km. Alien Laser We have a target system which can sense the IR signature and convey us remotely where the shot has hit. So, visibility is not an issue.

Hi Encap Basically the firer should not get shooting clue or visible guidance to aim. So, we can't blindfold him. Laser shot is simulating the real shot. The problem is getting a laser for such range, and as somebody correctly mentioned, in IR spectrum.
