Happened to me too! I got 2 instead of 1 arctic s3. Tried contacting WL repeatedly, but as usual they didnt reply! I just got a reply mail stating "arctics will ship next week" or something and I was like, no more s3s plz!!

^Thanks! :) Though it still kinda burns, but its not that effective! (maybe due to the spreading) Any remedies for that? If its diode related then a lens change wont help! :(

Help with attaining a perfect point I too got my laser last month! I only got to 'properly' use it a few days ago. With it, I was able to light firecrackers from a distance with the host on a tripod. Also carried out a extended newspaper burn test with a handlens in order to focus it...

Nice! I'm thinking of modifying the training lens too. and yea! I got the goggles supplied by WL. I know they are not enough but I've rarely gone to full power! Saw ZapU's wood burner video in the thread linked by you! Damn that was sweet! :D

Thanks! btw I too noticed slightly reduced burning power and lack of proper focus! but since I'm new to the internals of a host, I'm kinda afraid to carry out the focusing mod!:thinking:
