Will you be flying? I'm not to sure about regualtions on lasers and flying.... Might check into that before you decide to depart.

if you dont want to have to worry about eye wear, i would recommend below 5mW. Anything above deff needs goggles.

cameras have mirrors in them. You'll fry a retna just as fast looking through a camera.
