Where can I get canned air?

Yet another question: The laser has like, a LOT of tiny dots around it, and i'm suspecting a dirty lens. For MY laser, how would I clean it?

Well, when i point farther than around 5 meters away, the dot becomes around 5 cm wide, and made up of a bunch of tiny dots :I if i point it at night at something around 100m away, the dot is extremely dim.

Ah, didn't think so. :P Is there any other way to focus it?

@Jerry, i want a filter because i have others in my house, especially some smaller kids, and i don't want to hurt their eyes by accident. @Michael, okay, judging by what you said, i doubt i can focus mine. Mine is just a cheap laser from DX. This is the one i bought.

Hmm. Probably not :P I think i have some filters, actually. Also, my laser isn't very focused, is there any way to increase the focus?

Lol, okay. So if i take a camera filter and put it in front of my laser, by how much will it be lowered?

okay, my 30 mW green laser has finally arrived! (after two long months of shipping T_T) Okay, so I have 2 questions right now. 1) if i'm using this for outdoor night star pointing/beam viewing, will i need goggles? I hope not, because i've heard you can't see the beam if you have goggles on...
